Founded in 2015, getolo GmbH provides insurance coverage across dental, pet health, liability and supplemental health insurance under the brands dentolo, petolo and vitolo in Germany, plus patolo in France. Offering a digital, hassle-free experience with the customers’ needs at its core, getolo is transforming the InsurTech landscape. With plans to expand within Europe, they turned to Massive Rocket to implement Braze for automated, personalized campaigns across multiple brands.

Solution

Server-to-Server Integration for Data Security

getolo replaced ActiveCampaign with Braze through a secure server-to-server integration, building a robust data structure to segment four verticals within a single workspace. By leveraging connected content, they’ve diversified email communications, streamlined workflows, and significantly reduced workload:

  • Nested attributes and object arrays allow dynamic content for multiple pets, with personalized emails and journeys driven by detailed data under a single attribute personalized per brand/vertical.
  • Campaign management optimized to support cross-brand users, allowing customers to have two products within a single user account.
  • Connected content uses nested attributes to dynamically populate emails by tariff from a JSON file, reducing duplication and allowing one canvas for all tariffs. Updates are made easily by editing the JSON.

Goal: Migrate to Braze while maintaining optimal data security.

Result: A reliable, back-end–driven integration powering real-time campaigns.

Multi-Brand Lifecycle Journeys

To manage getolo’s four brands, the team created dynamic journeys addressing varied user segments, like post-call sales flows, abandoned cart reminders, and product-tier promotions. These included:

  • 12 automated journeys launched for patolo, with plans to expand across all brands and build comprehensive, full-funnel lifecycle marketing journeys.
  • Personalized post-call follow-ups, sales emails directly triggered by sales agents via Zapier and dynamically personalized, ensuring each message feels individually crafted.
  • Tariff-based offers, matching product tier (confort, premium, premium-plus) to user needs.

Goal: Build a flexible system for cross-brand engagement and lead nurturing.

Result: A streamlined, brand-agnostic campaign structure that scales as new products launch.

IP Warming & Currents for Deep Insights

The team successfully completed IP warming, ensuring high deliverability for email communications in newly launched France. Additionally, Braze Currents fed engagement data to Amazon S3 for rich analysis:

  • Stable inbox placement, boosting open and click rates.
  • Detailed performance tracking, enabling advanced funnel metrics.
  • Data exports maintain transparency and compliance.

Goal: Improve email performance and unify analytics across markets.

Result: Enhanced deliverability, real-time data exports, and actionable insights fueling next-phase growth.
